Creating a Booking Flow
Four numbers decide almost everything about how your calendar behaves.
Go to Account → Flows → Booking and press New Booking Flow.
The fields
Booking Flow Name
What the customer sees at the top of the booking page. Name it after the thing being booked — “Consultation”, “Bay 2”, “Saturday Class” — not after the internal process.
Description
One or two lines telling someone what they are booking and what to expect. Use it to head off the question you get asked every time.
Time Slot Duration
How long one slot lasts, in minutes. This also sets the spacing of the times offered — a 30-minute duration produces 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 and so on.
If you need buffer time between appointments, build it into the duration. A 45-minute job in a 60-minute slot gives you fifteen minutes to reset.
Slots Per Interval
How many bookings can share the same time. Leave it at 1 for a one-at-a-time appointment. Raise it for a class, a shared workshop, or anywhere you can serve several people at once.
Max Days in Advance
How far into the future someone can book. A short window keeps your calendar flexible; a long one lets people plan. Thirty days suits most service businesses.
Confirmation Button
After someone books, you can show them a button — Confirmation Button Label and Confirmation Button Link. Point it at whatever comes next: directions, an intake form, a deposit page, your Space.
None of these are permanent. Changing a flow’s rules does not disturb bookings already made against it.
