Turning RSVPs on
Switch Accept RSVPs on in the event editor. The live page gains a registration form.
What a guest gives you
- Name
- Phone — optional
- Guests — how many they are bringing, so your headcount is people rather than registrations
That is the whole form. Every additional field you could imagine adding costs you registrations, which is why it is short.
The guest list
Open the event and you get the list of everyone registered, with their guest counts. This is your door list and your headcount in one place.
Capacity and the guest count
Capacity counts people, not registrations. Someone registering with three guests takes four places. That is what you want — the room does not care how many forms were filled in.
Reaching your guests
Export or work from the list to send a reminder the day before. A reminder is the cheapest attendance increase available to you, and most events never send one.
An email address collected here is one your guest chose to give you for this event. Use it for this event. Bulk-adding those addresses to a marketing list is a fast way to get your domain marked as spam.
