Fill the room without a ticketing platform taking a cut of every seat.

An event in Jot is a page with a date, a place, and a way to say yes. It can collect free RSVPs, sell tickets, or both — and it lives at its own link with its own QR code, so you can put it on a poster, a table tent, or the back of a flyer.

What it handles

• Date, time, and how long it runs
• A venue with an address and a map link, or a virtual event with a meeting link
• A capacity, so it closes itself when full
• Free RSVPs with a guest count
• Paid tickets, in more than one tier

Free RSVP or paid ticket?

These are separate switches and you choose per event.

• Accept RSVPs — people register, nobody pays. Right for open houses, community nights, anything free where you still want a headcount.
• Enable Ticketing — people pay to attend. Right when a seat costs you something to provide.

Why a headcount matters even when it is free

A free event with no RSVP tells you nothing until people walk through the door. A free event with an RSVP tells you how much food to order, how many chairs to set out, and whether the flyer worked.
