Viewing Submissions

Everything people have sent you, in one place.

Where they live

Each form has a Submissions view showing everything received, newest first. The forms list shows a submission count per form, so you can see at a glance which are working and which have never been filled in.

Reading a submission

Open one to see every answer as it was given, with the time it arrived. Uploaded files and signatures are attached to the submission they came with.

What the counts tell you

A form with plenty of views and few submissions is not a traffic problem, it is a form problem. Usually one of:

  • Too many fields.
  • A required field people cannot or will not answer.
  • Asking for something sensitive too early.
  • Something broken on a phone that works on a laptop.

Fill in your own form on a phone before assuming it is the audience.

Duplicating a form

The forms list has a Duplicate action that copies a form with its steps and fields. Use it as a template rather than rebuilding a similar form from nothing.

Deleting

Deleting a form cannot be undone, and it takes the live form page offline immediately. If a form is only seasonal, switch it inactive instead — the submissions and the setup both stay.

Handle what people send you carefully. A form submission usually contains someone’s name, contact details, and something about their situation, given to you for one purpose.
