Booking
Book the slot without a phone call, a back-and-forth, or an app.
A booking flow is a set of rules — how long a slot is, how many you can run at once, how far ahead people may book, and when you are closed. Jot turns those rules into a page someone can open and book from.
What a flow is good for
- Appointments — a chair, a table, a consultation
- Rentals — equipment, a room, a bay
- Classes and sessions where several people share one time slot
- Anything where the answer is “pick a time”
How it fits together
- You create a booking flow and set its rules.
- You set your hours, and any blackout dates.
- Optionally, you require payment to hold the slot.
- You share the flow’s link, or add a booking section to a Space.
- Bookings land in one list you can work from.
More than one flow
You can run several flows at once, and you usually should. A 20-minute consultation and a full-day rental want completely different rules, and separating them keeps both simple rather than building one flow that half-fits everything.
Each flow has its own link and its own QR code. Point them at different places — one on a table tent, one in an email signature — and your booking list tells you which surface is actually working.
