Inline Products

One item, priced and purchasable, straight inside a section.

Inline product sections hold their own name, price, description and image. They do not read from your catalog, which means there is nothing to set up first — you add the section, type the details, and it is live.

When to use one

• A single service, package or deposit
• A menu, where you are not counting portions
• A tip or donation
• An affiliate item you do not fulfil yourself

The sections

Add these from Add Section in the builder. They differ in layout, not in what they can do.

• Product — full-width, image-led. The default for a hero item.
• Compact Product Card — smaller, for stacking several items.
• Featured Menu Item and the Menu Item family — sized for food and drink lists.
• Horizontal Scroll Menu — a sideways row, good on a phone.
• Affiliate Product — sends the buyer to someone else’s checkout rather than taking payment yourself.

Filling one in

1. Add the section and open it with Edit.
2. Set the name and price.
3. Add an image. Products without an image convert badly.
4. Write a short description — what it is, not how great it is.
5. Save.

Taking payment

An inline product section displays the item. It does not, by itself, charge anyone. You still need a checkout section on the page and a connected Stripe account — covered in Checkout Sections and Connecting Stripe.
